I have had the honor of serving you as a Ward 3 Clayton Alderman as a result of a special election held in August 2021. Because I am completing the unfinished term of my predecessor, Dan Sokol, I need to seek re-election this April 4th in order to serve a new and full term in office. I have truly enjoyed being part of the Board of Aldermen and feel I have helped contribute to the continued success of our City. I hope that I can count on you for your continued input and support.
The Clayton Board of Aldermen needs qualified, highly experienced members who have demonstrated a commitment to serving city government and the broader Clayton community. Equally important is an understanding of how our community can best serve all of its residents as well as the business community.
I have brought to the Board of Aldermen my prior service on numerous groups that have tackled tough questions facing our community. I’ve served on four critical city commissions, boards and task forces. I have worked with and led many organizations that are major partners with the City of Clayton in promoting the ongoing success of our community—The Clayton Century Foundation, the Chamber of Commerce and the Art Fair.
I was elected twice to the Clayton Board of Education and continue to be active as a retired board member, interviewing candidates for Clayton superintendent, including Dr. Nisha Patel.
I have now served as one of your Ward 3 aldermen for more than a year and a half. Re-election will allow me to continue to apply what I’ve learned and experienced in helping fully to guide Clayton in the years ahead.
